Cancer Support Centre

Sláinte an Chláir, Clare Cancer Support provides a safe, welcoming and confidential environment for people living with cancer, their families and friends. Our centre is a home from home — a place where everyone is always welcome to drop in for a cup of tea and a chat.

Our Locations and Opening Hours

We operate from two locations in County Clare:

• Kilnamona — Tuesday and Thursday
• Raheen — Wednesday

All Services Are Free

All services provided by Sláinte an Chláir, Clare Cancer Support are completely free of charge. We believe that no one should have to face cancer alone, and financial concerns should never be a barrier to receiving support.

• Cancer Man to Man support group (for men)

• A safe, confidential space to talk

The Heart of the Centre

The heart of Sláinte an Chláir is the kitchen and the table. Our members describe the centre as “a little piece of heaven”, “a home from home” and “a piece of sunshine on a dark day”. Whether you are going through treatment, in recovery, or supporting a loved one, you are always welcome here.
